Wondering what to do this Halloween? Try something different with gorge walking in the heart of Yorkshire. Night gorge walking sees you scramble through limestone channels, clamber over waterfalls and battle enthralling rapids. What makes this activity even more special is that you’ll do all this in the dark. Spooktacular!
Gorge walking in the dark is eventful, memorable and fun. Easily one of the best things to do on Halloween, the action unfolds in North Yorkshire, close to Harrogate, Leeds and York. We cater to families and small groups as well as schools and larger groups. It’s not just for kids, though! Our spook-o-meter indicates night gorge walking is perfectly suited to adult parties including hen and stag dos too. Think you’re brave enough?
Can’t make it this Halloween? Don’t worry! You can join us gorge walking any night of the week, any time of the year! Get involved!

Difficulty and ability
Daytime gorge walking can be daunting enough. Doing it in the night adds that extra challenge. However, our instructors always make sure you are safe on the activity. If any section of the activity is too extreme, we can simply skip this section and head back in further up or downstream.
We maintain exceptional instructor to client ratios to make sure you get the most out of your session.
Night Gorge Walking usually lasts around 3 hours. As we approach the winter months, the start time of the activity tends to be earlier, but please let us know if you have a specific start time in mind.
