About Our Open Group Events
Open Group Events are run as taster sessions, they are have-a-go type experiences suitable for people of all ages, from all walks of life. We cater for all age groups on activities, keeping everyone entertained and the adventure level appropriate for all involved. We have an ethos of challenge-by-choice, making sessions thrilling-for-all but never pushing you into something you won’t like. We also offer these and other activities as privately guided sessions across the Easter and Western Yorkshire Dales and also in other areas.
Led by qualified instructors, you are able to ask whatever questions you like, if you want to learn skills and techniques.
Dates are available on most Saturdays as well as Easter, Summer and Autumn holidays and half terms.
Our Locations
Climbing, Abseiling, Stand Up Paddle Boarding and Canoeing are within 30-mins from Ripon, 45-mins from Leeds, Harrogate, Thirsk and Otley and 1-hr from Bradford and York.
Cave and Gorge Walks are 15 mins from Pateley Bridge, 30-mins from Ripon and Masham, 40-mins from Harrogate and Skipton. 1-hr from Leeds, Richmond, Darlington and Northallerton. 1-hr 15-mins from York and Middlesbrough.
