Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge

Every space is a learning space with LOtC

We are very proud to have been awarded the Learning Outside the Classroom (LOtC) Quality Badge. The award is the only nationally-recognised badge which covers learning and safety of activities outside the scope of AALA.

This is great for schools and education organisers as it reduces the red tape associated with learning outdoors, so it’s easier for teachers to teach beyond the classroom walls on a regular basis.

What’s more, children have more exposure to wider educational experiences which directly benefit their educational, social and emotional development.

The badge means we show two key qualities: offering good quality teaching and learning, and effectively managing risk. You can download the Learning Outcomes for all activities we offer. Our activities are thoroughly risk-assessed regularly, while our staff are vetted, are DBS-checked and hold relevant qualifications.
