Where to Meet
When you book we will give you the exact location of where we meet. This will either be an easy to find car park or in the case of Stanage in the Peak District we usually meet at Outside, the climber’s cafe in Hathersage – the perfect place for a pre-climb cuppa!
Distances to Climbing and Abseiling Venues
Brimham Rocks and Almscliff – Yorkshire, within 45 minutes from Leeds, Harrogate, Bradford and York
Stanage Edge – The Peak District, within 45 minutes from Manchester, Doncaster, Sheffield, Leeds and Bradford
Twistelton Scars – Yorkshire Dales, close to Settle, Skipton, Milnthorpe and Kendal.
Scugdale – North York Moors, close to Middlesbrough, Whitby, Darlington, Northallerton, Durham and Hartlepool.
Cadshaw Quarry – Lancashire, close to Blackburn, Preston, Bolton, Burnley and Wigan.
Ilkley Cow and Calf – Yorkshire, close to Otley, Harrogate, Leeds, Halifax, Bradford, Skipton, Settle, Wakefield, Huddersfield and Burnley.

At Lost Earth Adventures we take safety very seriously. We have full public and product liability insurance, write risk assessments for every activity we offer and use highly experienced and qualified instructors with a good client to staff ratio.
You simply need to bring:
•Comfortable and warm clothes (Waterproof jacket and trousers are highly recommended)
•Suitable strong footwear
•Fully filled in disclaimer and booking form for each participant
•Spending money for tea/snacks
Children under 18 and older than 7 are most welcome on our activities but please let us know when booking how many and what ages they are. We have no upper age limit, as long as you have the determination and a sense of adventure!

There are Two Options
- Join one of our open group events that take place at different times throughout the year (please see our group events calender)* or
- Have your own personal instructor for the day.
*The open group events vary in price depending on the course and duration and the prices are listed with the courses on the open group activities page.

Private Guided Courses
Our private guided sessions will be tailored for you and your group, giving you the freedom and flexibility to make your day your own. We can cover any aspect of rock climbing from simply getting up the rock to advancing your technique, and setting up belays. You will have your own personal instructor for the day fully insured, trained and qualified, with many years of experience under their belt.
