Public Services Courses
Outdoor Adventure and Public Services activities
Designed for Public Services, our courses aim to get the very best out of learners by honing teamwork, planning and leadership skills.
We offer fun and challenging uniformed Public Services courses to colleges across the UK. We’ve worked with colleges and higher education institutes to establish a comprehensive package built around your college’s needs. What’s more, we’re specialists in logistics and event planning, so can take the stress out of organising the event.
Public Services courses
Activities include rock climbing, abseiling, caving, hiking, orienteering and full-day expeditions. Bushcraft and camp craft can be organised during the evenings, while watersports can also be included. Bespoke unit delivery is at the heart of our packages.
Our experience and accreditations ensure every session is delivered safely.
Crucially, activities are based on your needs, from uniformed Public Services learners looking to enter the Police, Fire Services or Armed Forces, to those wishing to master particular skillsets. We pride ourselves on exceptional unit instruction throughout.
Accommodation, transport and food can also be arranged with all packages.
Outdoor and Adventurous Activities
Our activities hone teamwork and leadership, encouraging learners to have an adaptable personality. This ethos is central to every session we deliver. We know colleges share the same ethos which is why we know we can help deliver your Public Services courses.
Our courses look to help the learner;
- Know about the activities
- Highlight and manage risks associated with the activities
- Participate in the activities
- Review the skills learnt on the activities
Each activity seeks to nurture the learner’s skillsets. You can see all the Learning Outcomes of our sessions here.
Public Services Outdoor Activities Locations
We have central bases in the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District. Other locations include Wales, Scotland, the Lake District, the Midlands, the North West and the North East.
If you have a particular location in mind, we are confident we can help with instruction, accommodation and other facilities.
Why choose Lost Earth Adventures?
We’ve worked alongside Public Services colleges and providers to ensure our packages are built specifically for Public Services learners. We hold an AALA License and a Learning Outside the Classroom Quality Badge. Our staff are DBS-checked and many have the highest national or international certification in the activities they instruct in. We also have full public liability insurance.
Our experience in assisting colleges, schools and other youth groups ensures learners get an exciting and challenging experience while organisers can feel confident in our ability to organise the sessions. Several colleges use our services regularly and we have capacity to deliver most types of sessions.
If you know your requirements, we can usually provide a quote for any group size within 24 hours. If you need assistance with planning or require further information about what we can deliver, please contact us on 01904 500 094 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
