Mountain Bike Holiday Nepal
If you thrive on adrenaline and are always in search of your next big thrill, look no further. Forget New Zealand, this mighty Himalayan country, Nepal is the definitive adventurer’s playing field! From the world’s deepest gorge, to the highest peak in the world Nepal has it all.

Explore the country from every angle as you soar above the mountains suspended under a canopy of silk, run river rapids getting up close to the country’s water ways, pass local villages on the best mountain biking trails in the Himalaya and abseil down steep canyon walls. Nepal is the best place for those seeking adventure and also wanting to experience a taste of this culturally exciting and vibrant country.

This trip is a shorter 13-day version, making up part of our Nepal Xtreme Tour. The trips run together at the same time so this works great if people in your group have different time constraints.

All activities on this tour except mountain biking require no previous experience and although included, are optional. Please see the info section below for this trip’s grading.

Trip Grading

Highest Canyon Swing in the World Nepal
This trip is considered to be challenging. We spend time at higher altitudes than you are probably used to. We go to fairly remote regions of Nepal where infrastructure and services are limited. Mountain biking features some technical descents and you should be confident as a rider.

There are a variety of descents to choose from. The easiest mountain bike trails and terrain we use would be considered a graded blue run at a UK trail centre. There are options for far harder descents but the minimum you need to be able to cope with is a blue run. If you are unsure of your ability, please contact us. There is always the opportunity to walk while the others cycle and still meet up in the evening as a group.

You may also be interested in our Yeti Among the Seti tour that has all of the same activities except for mountain biking.

We also offer mountain bike courses in the UK. If you are unsure of your skill level on a mountain bike please ring us to speak with one of our instructors. If you book on to this trip we will offer you one of our mountain bike skills courses for half price.

The rivers we raft vary from 3+ to 4+ and while no experience is necessary you must be comfortable and able to swim in water higher than head height. A reasonable degree of fitness will make this trip more enjoyable.

What Our Guests Say

Kayak Trip Nepal
“A few friends and I wanted a holiday of a lifetime… and Lost Earth Adventures delivered on all counts.

Our guides, Rich and Amy, were fantastic, great fun, organised, knowledgable, well-connected, and they really went out of their way to make sure everything went smoothly…no mean feat given the extreme locations we were travelling in. I’m now pleased to consider them both firm friends.

The itinerary was spot on – the right mixture of adrenalin fuelled activities (mountain biking, bungee jumping, paragliding, white water rafting, canyoning, kayaking), and relaxation to allow us to absorb the local culture, and see the REAL Nepal (which should not be missed).

We went in November 2012 and every time the lads and I get together its never long before we start reminiscing about our great memories from this holiday. It was an unbelievably trip and one I cannot recommend highly enough. Go.
