Guided Walking Challenge to the Summit of Kinder Scout
Explore the rugged, wild terrain of Kinder Scout, the Dark Peak’s highest summit, guided by torch and the light of a million stars. The trail leaves from Edale, winding its way up Grindsbrook Clough, until reaching the curiosity of the mushroom stones. Can you pick it out within the shadows?
From here we’ll bound across the pock-marked lunar landscape, leap across the Wool Packs, skirt around Noe Stool and the Pagoda’s, scout out the summit and finally reach Kinder Downfall. Will you seek out the mythical Mermaid’s Pool, nestled below the sheer cliffs? From here, we’ll descend Jacob’s Ladder, retreating to flatter lands; finally, back down to earth. Set off for sunset or sunrise, the choice is yours.

Our Kinder Scout Night Hike is ideal for charity events. It’s a tailor-made challenge, so people are often more likely to donate for your cause. As with all of our charity challenges, the event will be privately run by us, so your charitable cause takes centre-stage. You can open up the event to others if you’d prefer.
