Ghorepani and Poon Hill Trek

Sensational sights on this short Himalayan trek

10 day set departures and private expeditions from £835

Annapurna Range from Poon Hill
A circular trek giving you everything Nepal has to offer in just 10 days! Amazing culture, famous hospitality and glorious views of the Himalaya make this a truly authentic trekking experience.

One of our all-time favourites, the highlight in this trek is the sunrise visit to Poon Hill. As the sun comes up, it’s like a curtain opening to unparalleled views of the Himalayan peaks and valleys. After, you can indulge in natural hot springs and explore colourful villages.

IMPORTANT: This is one of our least-demanding treks. With relatively low altitude, warmer weather and access to more comfortable lodges, it’s ideal for families, first-time trekkers and those with time restrictions.

Explore everything this trek has to offer in our Ghorepani and Poon Hill Dossier.

Welcome to Nepal, let the adventure begin!

Travelling to Nepal

You’ll need a passport with 6-month’s validity as well as a Nepalese visa. The best way to obtain this is to buy it on entry to Nepal in any major currency but not Nepali Rupees. Typically, the cost is USD30 for 15 days.

You’ll also need travel insurance and you should visit your GP or a health professional at least 4-6 weeks before you travel to check which vaccinations you may need.

For more info on travelling safely and obtaining a visa, see the FCO Know Before You Go campaign.
