Canyoning

Just outside Ingleton, Beezley Falls is perfect for a family canyoning trip. For families with children aged 7+, the lower section makes a superb aquatic adventure. For families with older teenagers looking for more exhilaration, the upper section of the Falls never fails to impress! Highlights include 8 m high jumps, an epic zipline and wild slides.

Mountain Biking

Our MTB guides are experts at choosing the best routes for riders of all abilities, fitness and inclinations! Our favourite ride in the area is the Settle Loop – a beautiful ride along varied terrain suitable for children and adults.

Rock climbing and Abseiling

If you’ve got a pretty adventurous clan that likes a bit of adrenaline coursing through their veins, this is something they won’t want to wait to tell their mates about! Sharing experiences with the family on the mountainside will be ones you cherish forever.

Caving

Long Churns Cave (near Settle) is a great introductory caving experience for children and adults alike. The trip can be tailored for each of your family members to make sure everyone gets the perfect amount of challenge.

To take the adventure up a notch, abseil into the Witch’s Pot in the Bull Pot of the Witches. This trip is guaranteed to excite even the most apathetic of teens.

Settle

This quaint market town is steeped in history and tradition. Its weekly Tuesday market has been going strong since 1249, and is great for picking up local produce and handicrafts. When in town, make sure to pop into the quirky Gallery on the Green, a repurposed red phone and (possibly) the smallest gallery in the world.

Ribblehead Viaduct

Just outside Ingleton, you can find the iconic Ribblehead Viaduct: a must see for anyone visiting the area. The 32 m high, 400 m long structure, built by 2,300 men 150 years ago, is a true testament to the visionary ambition of our Victorian ancestors.

Ingleton

Ingleton sits in the shadow of Yorkshire’s highest peak, Ingleborough. It is full of locally owned businesses, including Ingleton Pottery (where you can see Dick, Jill & Dan Unsworth creating their hand-thrown pieces), and the Old Post Office Microbar. If your family have an interest in anything vintage (clothes, furniture, cars, stuffed animals…), make sure to stop in to Lords Antiques & Salvage.

Ingleton Waterfalls Trail

Be captivated by the thundering force of the Rivers Twiss and Doe. The 4.3 mile loop showcases the area’s most impressive waterfalls. The 14 m Thornton Force and 30 m Pecca Falls are our personal highlights, and we are also a fan of the Falls Café! Entrance: £8 adult / £4 child.

Whitescar Cave

If a caving adventure trip isn’t for you, then a tour of Whitescar Cave is a great alternative to experience the underworld. The 1-mile-long walking tour through Britain’s longest showcave is full of opportunities for supporting classroom learning of geology, geography, and the magnificent power of water.

5.) Book your accommodation immediately after checking our availability using either Booking.com, The Youth Hostel Association, Air BnB, or your favourite accommodation portal.
6.) Pay us a £100 deposit as soon as you’ve booked your accommodation. The balance is due 30 days prior.
7.) Turn up and enjoy your adventure holiday in the UK!
