Cryptic Adventure Challenge

We start off by organising a couple of icebreakers, as well as getting the group motivated and mentally prepared for the challenges.

After a few laughs and a bit of fun, one of our highly trained facilitators will start the day teaching the basics of remote terrain navigation.

The group will be responsible for planning their route around a course with the supervision of a facilitator, with the aim of getting to checkpoints, working well as a team.

The tasks are a mix of fun, competition and problem solving with wilderness and survival themes. Bombs are expected to be diffused and colleagues will need rescuing from various situations we develop. It is challenge-by-choice and we won’t push people into situations they feel uncomfortable with.

Lost Earth Adventures instructors and facilitators have a breadth of knowledge when it comes to team building which you are sure to see during these activities. At the end of the challenge, a full debrief with review will take place to discuss what went well and could be changed.

After lunch there will be the opportunity to try abseiling and rock climbing. These are both optional but we encourage everybody to give it a go, it’s a great way to stretch your comfort zone as well as support your friends, colleagues and team mates.
