Alum Pot

A lost world that few people get to see, journeying into an 80m deep shaft, we abseil The Dolly Tubs, a descent of over 30-metres to enter the main chamber through The Window. Waterfalls, sunlight from the surface, plant life and mist create a truly unique environment.

Goyden Pot

We will show you the skills necessary to safely challenge yourself in this impressive environment and on the high traverse above the stream-way. Eventually we’ll take a bold crossing, high above the underground river via ‘A step across the clouds’.

Bull Pot of the Witches

Massive abseils take you to the bottom of the Witch’s Pot. Hubbling and bubbling, this deep, dark, steaming cauldron is filled by a huge waterfall rumbling the chamber. We head horizontally, exploring the network to climb out via dry ladders, or a tight passage with a river pouring into your suit!

Sell Gills

Sell Gills on the flanks of Pen-Y-Ghent is the perfect place to try vertical caving techniques. Our professional guides will teach and lead you down three exciting abseils to the heart of the cave. We descend from the hillside where we can explore Fossil Passage and see delicate calcite formations.

Horizontal Caves – No Ropes or Ladders

We have many more caving experiences, suitable for groups of all sizes in the Yorkshire Dales. These are a little less demanding but still very exciting.
