On Saturday, June 2nd we are proud to be hosting a Yorkshire 3 Peaks sponsored walk in aid of two cancer charities; Walk the Walk, which raises money for breast cancer and Clic Sargent, which helps children cancer patients.
We are organising this on behalf of Tracy Gould who works tirelessly at combating this disease by raising awareness with her blog ‘War on Cancer‘ and organising a multitude of fundraising activities that goes towards cancer research and treatment. Her work is highly commendable and she is an inspiration to all of us. You can read about Tracy’s story and her fundraising activities on her blog.

We are meeting at the Station Inn at Ribblehead Viaduct, Ingleton, at 07.00am for a breakfast buttie and hot drink before we commence on our trek.
On our successful return to the Station Inn, there will be soup and a sarnie provided. If you are still peckish after this the pub offers some great home cooked food, some real ale and some cosy English hospitality. We hope that you will consider staying the night with us to celebrate our completion of the War on Cancer’s first annual Yorkshire 3 Peak’s Challenge. The pub offers various degrees of accommodation from a £10 a night bed in a dormitory to quite luxurious rooms in the inn. If the inn is full there is free camping available found behind the inn. For more information about the pub and to arrange accommodation please see their website.
