Archery

Archery lessons and courses for schools and youth groups

Young school child on an archery course
Ever tried archery? We provide a range of archery sessions and courses across the UK, with locations in Yorkshire and Norfolk. Our sessions are built for children and young people whether in a school group, as a cadet or another youth group.

Archery tests composure, accuracy and confidence with a powerful weapon. Under the supervision of our expert guides, we’ll show learners how to hold the bow, the correct posture to take the shot, and how to improve accuracy.

We’ll hone the learner’s skills, adding a little competition if necessary to improve teamwork.

Archery locations

We offer archery lessons in three locations:

Studfold Activity Centre, North Yorkshire: A purpose-built activity centre in the heart of Nidderdale, we also provide caving, gorge walking and rock climbing.

Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire: Set near a very beautiful lake, the vast stretch of open space is ideal for archery. We also provide canoeing and stand up paddle boarding here.

Two Mile Bottom, Norfolk: Set amongst open fields, our centre in Thetford is great for archery. We also provide a range of activities at this location, too.
