The Annapurna Circuit

One of the World’s Classic Walks

15 day set departures and private expeditions from £1,345

Trekking Annapurna Circuit
Considered one of the best treks in the world, the Annapurna Circuit is a perennial favourite of ours. A journey full of surprises which encompasses the best of what Nepal has to offer.

Begin in the fertile lowlands and pass through verdant yak pastures before ascending into the alpine. Cross the magnificent Thorung La, a remote high-altitude pass and see the stunning panorama of the Annapurnas, Manaslu and the Dhauligiri massif. From there, we’ll head into the deepest gorge on Earth, into the sacred Muktinath Valley, a pilgrimage site for Hindus and Buddhists. This is a natural and cultural experience through the Himalaya like no other!

PLEASE NOTE: On this tour, you’ll only need to carry a small day pack. Porters will transport your larger bags for you. We’ll stay in comfortable lodges and guesthouses. Most of these have warm showers and Western-style toilets.

Travelling to Nepal

You’ll need a passport with 6-month’s validity as well as a Nepalese visa. The best way to obtain this is to buy it on entry to Nepal in any major currency but not Nepali Rupees. Typically, the cost is USD30 for 15 days.

You’ll also need travel insurance and you should visit your GP or a health professional at least 4-6 weeks before you travel to check which vaccinations you may need.

For more info on travelling safely and obtaining a visa, see the FCO Know Before You Go campaign.
