Abseiling Challenge Event
19th May 2026
Our northern colleagues from EY offices will get together on 19 May and hang over 100ft over the Miller’s Dale gorge to raise money for our fantastic charity.
With your donations, you will be helping to empower young people from low income backgrounds to thrive in the workplace.
The EY Foundation is a national, independent charity that builds aspiration, confidence and a greater sense of purpose by providing the knowledge, skills and experience young people need to thrive in the workplace. It tackles the barriers to employment faced by young people from low-income backgrounds and through their programmes, they help young people unlock their potential and succeed in the workplace.
Proceeds from this abseil will help the EY Foundation build better futures for young people who are eligible for Free School Meals (which means a household income of less than £16,190). Enabling us to continue supporting them by providing paid employability skills training and work experience, mentoring and alumni activities throughout 2026 and beyond.
