It’s no surprise that Phewa Tal, in Pokhara, Nepal was this week’s choice for Lost Earth Adventures’ favourite destinations.
Imagine a pristine lake, perfectly reflecting the awe-inspiring mountains of the Annapurna Massif on its waters. Imagine witnessing a stunningly beautiful sunset or taking a refreshing dip in the midday heat. Imagine being surrounded by lush forest and natural jungle and experiencing the feeling that you really are in a place like no other. This is Phewa Tal.
The lake is situated in the laid back town of Pokhara, nestled in the foothills of the Annapurnas. The lake is best experienced by rowboat, which can easily be rented from the trusted vendors at the Lakeside. Phewa Tal is an ideal place to relax and take in the incredible beauty of the Himalayas or go for a refreshing swim after a rewarding day of biking or hiking.
